Stalking
At Claonaig Estate there is beautiful landscape with open hill and woodland stalking for red, roe and sika deer. The open hill stalking is challenging, so guests should be in quite a good physical condition.
A typical day's stag stalking may start with the roaring of a red deer stag or the whistle of a sike stag. An outing may last for four hours depending on the weather.
The number of red deer stags is limited - sika stags are unlimited.
Outing fee per day (1:1) is GBP 175 + VAT.
Red deer
Red deer stags can be stalked from 1st of July until October 20th.
Prices: up to a Royal stag: GBP 550 + VAT for a Royal stag or more: GBP 800 + VAT. Plus the outing fee per day.
The stalking can take place 1:1 or 2:1 with local, experienced stalkers.
Sika deer
Sika stags can be stalked from July 1st until October 20th.
Price: GBP 450 + VAT plus the outing fee per day.
The stalking can take place 1:1 or 2:1 with local, experienced stalkers.
Culling
Hinds and calves can be stalked during the winter season.
The price per day is GBP 275 + VAT.
Packages with a combination of game shooting and stalking can be tailored to suit the requirements of the party.
Roe buck
The open season is April 1st till October 20th.
The price for a roe buck is GBP 300 + VAT plus the outing fee per day.
